We are delighted to announce the shortlisted trusts for nine award categories in the CHKS Top Hospitals Awards 2019. The category shortlists are for the healthcare efficiency award, quality of care award, patient safety award, patient experience ward, most improved award, and three data quality awards. The awards are determined by the analysis of publicly available data based on range of indicators, rather than a judging panel.
Also announced today is the shortlist for the quality improvement award, which is open to all healthcare organisations accredited by CHKS in 2018 and evaluated by the CHKS Accreditation Awards Panel.
We would like to take this opportunity to congratulate the finalists and we look forward to seeing everyone who has been invited along with the shortlisted trusts at the awards ceremony in London on 12 June. At the ceremony we will also be announcing the 40 Top Hospitals – a prestigious accolade recognising the best hospital performance across England, Wales and Northern Ireland.
