We are delighted to announce that our keynote speaker for the event will be Prof. António Vaz Carneiro, MD, PhD, FACP, FESC – President of the Institute for Evidenced Based Healthcare (FMUL), Director at Cochrane Portugal, Chair of Choosing Wisely Portugal and President of the National Council for Continuous Professional Development (Portuguese Medical Association). Prof. Vaz Carneiro will present some of the work the Institute is doing to support HCPs, the use of EHR technology and ‘Person Centered Value Based Healthcare’ as a model for change in healthcare systems.
