CHKS Ireland Conference 2014

Presentations from SUD 2018

Supporting high quality, safe healthcare in Ireland

Tuesday 11th November 2014
1pm - 6.30pm
Hilton Hotel, 2 Charlemont Place, Dublin 2, Ireland

Over 50 delegates with an interest in delivering safe and quality care for patients and residents from across Ireland attended the CHKS Ireland Conference: Supporting high quality, safe healthcare in Ireland yesterday.

Delegates had the opportunity to:
  • Hear from others about the benefits and challenges of introducing quality standards
  • Share ideas and experiences with guests from other healthcare organisations
  • Learn about the benefits of using data to monitor and improve performance

The teams from Tabor Lodge Addiction Treatment Centre and Centric Healthcare joined us to share their quality improvement journeys and we also learnt about how using data can help to drive quality improvement, with Danny McWilliams from Belfast Health and Social Care Trust. Information expert, Sinead Byrne presented on the changes to Freedom of Information legislation and in our ever-popular speed networking session, delegates had the opportunity to 'work the room', find new ideas and make new contacts - then continue the conversation over drinks and canapés at the end of the day.
